James H. Laros III is a Principal Member of the Technical Staff at Sandia National Laboratories. His wide range of experience spans more than 30 years, the vast majority of which has been focused on large-scale High Performance Computing topics. James leads a number of programs at Sandia including the Advanced Architecture testbed program and the Vanguard Advanced Architecture Prototype program. James also serves as the Chief Architect for Crossroads, the NNSA’s 3rd Advanced Architecture System. James was also the founding principal investigator for the High Performance Computing Power Application Programming Interfaces Specification, now a community led standard in the area of power and energy measurement and control.
