Biography
Carissa Holohan is Principal High Performance Computing Network Administration Specialist at the Argonne Leadership Computing Facility located at Argonne National Laboratory. With a background in computer science and electrical engineering, she dabbles in solving a wide variety of problems faced by some of the world’s top supercomputers and the facilities that support them. Carissa is a board member of Spectrum, the LGBTQIA+ Employee Resource Group at Argonne, and participates in a wide variety of Diversity & Inclusion efforts on behalf of the laboratory. In her rapidly vanishing free time, she attends furry conventions, builds random electronic gizmos, and occasionally remembers that she has a ham radio license, callsign K9VXN.
