Dr. Dabin Ding received his B.S. in Software Engineering and M.S. in Computer Science from Northeastern University, China in 2006 and 2008. He received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 2014. He worked as a software developer at Epic System in 2013. He joined the School of Computer Science and Mathematics as an assistant professor in 2014. His research interests include database query processing and optimization, especially in XML query processing, Cloud Computing, Cloud Gaming and Internet of Things. Dr. Ding is also a GIAC Certified Secure Java Developer (GSSP-Java) and GIAC Security Essential (GSEC).
