Brian Allison is an IBM Senior Technical Staff Engineer and Chief Engineer for OpenCAPI Technology and Enablement. Over his 25 year career at IBM, Mr. Allison was the Chief Engineer of various industry leading IBM chip sets that spanned cache coherent, memory and node controllers. His expertise is in computer architecture and logic design. In his current role, Brian leads the IBM team that enables partner led development of OpenCAPI technologies in networking, storage, storage class memories and cognitive arenas. Mr. Allison is the TSC representative from IBM into the OpenCAPI Consortium and is active in the formation and driving of various Work Groups within the consortium.
