Dr. Xinghui Zhao is an Associate Professor at the School of Engineering and Computer Science, Washington State University. Her research interests lie in parallel and distributed systems, high performance and energy efficient computing, as well as providing system support for big data applications. She is passionate about educating, mentoring and advising both undergraduate and graduate students. Her students were named finalist for the prestigious CRA Outstanding Undergraduate Researcher Award, winner for the Chancellor's Award for Student Achievement, among others.
