Rob Quick is the Deputy Director of the Science Gateways Research Center at Indiana University. He previously acted as the Operations Officer for the Open Science Grid for 10 years. He is heavily involved with the Committee on Data of the International Council for Science and the Research Data Alliance. He acts as the chair for the ACM Special Interest Group on HPC in Resource Constrained Environments and is the Co-Director of the CODATA/RDA School of Research Data Science for Low and Middle-Income Countries which hosts several events each year for early career researchers in developing nations. He is actively working on national and international data cyberinfrastructures and providing foundational data science services and education. He also holds positions with the Software Assurance Marketplace providing a platform for quality assurance tools for developers and participates in the Wise Information Security for e-Infrastructures community.
