Blair has worked in distributed computing for over a decade; both in research and for research; for institutional and national projects; from applications, through grid & cloud middleware, to full HPC & cloud systems design, implementation, and operations. Over the last few years at Monash University he has designed and deployed a high-performance data-processing system that uses OpenStack for infra provisioning and built the largest Ceph cluster in the southern hemisphere. He has just taken up the role of Solutions Manager at NeSI.
