André Walker-Loud is a Staff Scientist at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. His research interests include applying HPC to fundamental research challenges in the field of nuclear physics with the aim of providing rigorous, first principles predictions for quantities needed by major experiments looking for hints of new physics with precision tests of the Standard Model. This work necessarily involves the latest and greatest supercomputers.
