Biography
Marc-André Hermanns is a Computer Scientist at the Jülich Supercomputing Centre at Forschungszentrum Jülich, Germany. He received a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Hagen, Germany in 2008. He received a Ph.D. in Computer Science from RWTH Aachen University, Germany in 2018. He has been active in the MPI Forum since 2008 and is currently co-chair of its tools working group, involved in designing portable tools interfaces for the Message Passing Interface (MPI) standard. Marc-Andre’s research focuses on performance analysis tools for parallel programming. His research interests include parallel and distributed architectures; performance measurement and analysis techniques; and parallel programming paradigms.
