Paul Walker is a software engineer working on the development of Arm Compiler for HPC. Paul has been leading the design of the extensions in the LLVM IR that introduced the Vector Length Agnostic (VLA) vector types. These types are needed to support the Scalable Vector Extension (SVE) of AArch64. He is currently driving the development of the SVE VLA vectorizer and the optimization of the SVE backend.
