Ajay Deshpande
Biography
Ajay R. Deshpande works as R&D IT Infrastructure Leader at General Motors (GM) Mr. Deshpande is currently working as High-Performance Computing (HPC), Remote visualization lead, responsible for multiple HPC projects. He is working with GM since 2013.
In 1992, he earned his bachelor of engineering degree in Electronics and Telecommunication from Amravati University, India. He is also the recipient of Team GM CIO Award for extraordinary effort to ensure the success of HPC deployment project.
Prior to joining GM, he was working with Hewellet-Packard (HP) for 13 years. He was involved release management process for the Compute Aided Engineering (CAE) applications, as Release Manager. His experience includes Project Leadership, Change Management, Release Management, and Software Support. He brings demonstrated expertise for CAE Applications and HPC support within the automotive business.
