Ms. Laura Ulibarri is the Acting Director the the Maui High Performance Computing Center (MHPCC) since 2014. She has been transforming the MHPCC from a production-based HPC Center into a forward-looking center integrating new HPC hardware and software into the DoD's HPC Enterprise. Her particular focus has been on lowering barriers for use and making DoD HPC more accessible to a broader DoD user community. Prior to becoming the Acting Director at MHPCC, she received her M.S. in Physics and worked in industry and government developing physics-based models of lasers and imaging systems.
