Biography
Dalton Lunga received the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN, USA.

He is a geospatial and machine learning Scientist with the Geographic Information Sciences and Technology Group. He currently leads research on transfer learning and domain adaptation, manifold learning with scalable deep learning approaches for world-scale building extraction and human settlement mapping. His technical background includes image processing, statistical machine learning, remote sensing, and geospatial data analysis.
