Ichitaro Yamazaki received his PhD in computer science from University of California, Davis in 2008. After working as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, he is now a research scientist in the Innovative Computing Laboratory at the University of Tennessee. He works on various projects including the LAPACK, MAGMA, PLASMA, and SLATE projects.
