Xiaodong Yu is a final year PhD student in the Department of Computer Sciences at Virginia Tech. He received the B.S. degree of Mathematics from China University of Mining and Technology in China and the M.S. degree of Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Missouri, Columbia, MO in the US. His research interests include parallel computing, reconfigurable computing, system security, and program analysis. He has expertise in GPU programming, reconfigurable device programming, algorithm design and optimization, and application acceleration.
