Jim Galarowicz
Biography
James Galarowicz is a Senior Computer Scientist, Lead at the Krell Institute in Ames, Iowa. He earned his B.S in Math Computer Science in 1973 from the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire and pursued a Master of Science in Computer Science at the University of Minnesota. James has had a number of roles in high performance computing (HPC) while at Cray Research as a compiler developer, at Silicon Graphics as a debugger and performance tools developer, as the developer tools manager at SGI and currently with the Krell Institute developing the Open|SpeedShop application performance tool. James's research interests include parallel application performance monitoring and debugging, compiler development, program management, and parallel application optimization.
