Biography
Hongzhang Shan is a research scientist at the Performance and Algorithm Research group, Computational Research Division of Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. His research interests are in parallel programming paradigms, the interaction between architecture and applications, performance tuning and modeling. He has published over 60 articles and papers and won the ACM Gordon Bell Award in 2008.
