Karina holds a Bachelor of Architecture and a Masters Intergrated Marketing and Communication Management. During her employment with Pawsey she played a pivotal role in the development of the Centre’s marketing strategy and is the ‘caretaker’ of the Pawsey Brand. She has more than 18 years’ experience in corporate communications, both nationally and internationally and has designed and coordinated regular events to promote public awareness of the Centre. Her contribution has assisted in building the reputation of Perth as an innovation hub and showcase the outcomes of Australian Researchers who has benefited from Pawsey services. Karina draws on her passion for architecture in the design and production of layouts for key exhibitions intended to showcase the Centre. In her role she also facilitates media engagement to highlight the Centre’s capabilities and services.
