Niranjan Hasabnis is a Deep Learning Software Engineer in Artificial Intelligence Products Group at Intel, and he works on optimizing TensorFlow's CPU backend for Intel Xeon Scalable Processors. One of his contributions to TensorFlow is the set of graph optimization passes that improve performance of TensorFlow's CPU backend on Xeon Scalable Processors. Prior to working at Intel, Niranjan completed a PhD in Computer Science from Stony Brook University. His primary research areas were compilers, program analysis, and binary analysis and instrumentation. Niranjan has published 6 peer-reviewed research papers in popular conferences such as Code Generation and Optimization (CGO) and Architectural Support for Programming Languages and Operating Systems (ASPLOS). He also holds one patent.
