Sergei Shudler is a senior research associate in the Laboratory for Parallel Programming at Technical University of Darmstadt in Germany. He received his PhD degree from this institution in 2018. Dr. Shudler also holds BSc and MSc degrees in computer science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. In his work, he focuses on techniques to engineer parallel programs for extreme-scale systems. Before starting the PhD program, he worked in the industry and co-developed a 3D engine and a geophysical visualization platform. His research interests include exploiting parallelism at extreme scales, performance analysis and modeling, parallel programming, and visualization.
