Biography
Mehmet Esat Belviranli, Ph.D., is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). At ORNL, he is a member of the Future Technologies Group in the Computer Science and Mathematics Division. He received his Ph.D. degree in computer science from University of California, Riverside. He served as a program committee member and external reviewer for various conferences, journals, and research proposals. His research is mainly focused on high performance computing and systems. His studies have been published in MICRO, PPoPP, SC, ICS, PACT and TACO on various topics such as heterogeneous architectures, runtime systems, task-based execution, performance modeling, NVMs, deep memory hierarchies, source-to-source translation, systems research for deep learning, and parallel programming paradigms.
