Sandra Gesing

Biography
Sandra Gesing is a research assistant professor at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and a computational scientist at the Center for Research Computing at the University of Notre Dame. She is heavily involved with the Science Gateways Community Institute and a Co-PI for the conceptualization of a US Research Software Sustainability Institute. Her research interests include science gateways, workflows, distributed and parallel computing. In this context, she also works on disease modeling and analysis frameworks for modeling and simulations. Dr. Gesing received her Ph.D. in Computer Science from University of Tübingen, Germany, in 2013. For more information, please visit http://sandra-gesing.com/
