DescriptionAfter ATIP’s very successful Workshop at SC17 on International Exascale and Next-Generation Computing Programs, ATIP proposes a full-day sequel workshop at SC18 presenting and generating discussions on International Next-Generation Computing Programs and Workforce Development. SC18 will be the 30th anniversary of the SC conference series. In the spirit of highlighting that accomplishment our proposed 2018 Workshop will be more inclusive and incorporate more younger scientists. It will emphasize achievements that have been made and plans for the future, including mechanisms to expand the pool of qualified HPC practitioners. Speakers will be selected from leaders in Asia, Europe, and possibly elsewhere.
