Exhibitor Description
San Diego Supercomputer Center (SDSC), an Organized Research Unit of UC San Diego, provides resources, services, and expertise in advanced high-performance computing and data-driven applications for science and society. SDSC supports hundreds of multidisciplinary programs spanning a wide variety of domains such as bioinformatics, astrophysics, the earth sciences, and compliant health IT services. SDSC’s data-intensive supercomputers include Comet, a petascale system funded by the National Science Foundation that was extended by the NSF in 2018 for a sixth year of service, extending into March 2021.
