Experience Report: 4 Years of Teaching Cloud Computing and Big Data at the University Level

Abstract: Valuable insights can be gained from teaching a combined Cloud Computing/Big Data course over many years between differing sized institutions and hundreds of students. We report and reflect on the content of the course, schedule, assignments, student feedback, and hardware/software used starting at the University of Cincinnati in 2014 at the undergraduate/graduate level and culminating at the University of Indianapolis in 2017 with an undergraduate-only course.
