Biography
Michael Lang has lead research in large-scale systems performance and systems software at LANL for 19 years. His research interests include HPC interconnects, memory, distributed system software, scheduling, application performance, and power. He leads Office of Science projects in storage and networking and an Exascale Computing Project in memory and is the LANL ASC program manager for the Computational Systems & Software Environment (CSSE) Advanced Technology Development and Mitigation (ATDM) elements.
