Michael Wyatt is a Research Associate advised by Dr. Michela Taufer in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Tennessee Knoxville, PhD student in Computer Science at the University of Delaware, and collaborator mentored by Dr. Todd Gamblin at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. He earned his MS in Computer Science from the University of New Mexico in 2015 and BS in Biochemistry from the University of Delaware in 2013. Wyatt's research interests in high performance computing include the application of machine learning to scheduling challenges and big data analytics. Specifically, he works on the prediction of resources used by applications based on historical application data and the use of these predictions in resource-aware scheduling. Additionally, he has published interdisciplinary work in the fields of predictive medicine and epidemiology. He has attended SC since 2015 and is a member of IEEE and ACM.
