Biography
Aaron Welch is a PhD student from the University of Houston working in high performance computing at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory. His research has focused on language and memory models for next generation system architectures, with an emphasis on management of complex memory hierarchies and partitioned global address spaces. Currently, he is working on analysis of code and memory access patterns within it, and the application of such an analysis on new extensions for memory management within the next version of the OpenMP specification.
