Danny Rorabaugh is a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at the University of Tennessee Knoxville. He earned a B.A. in Linguistics and a B.S. in Mathematics at Seattle Pacific University, followed by a Ph.D. in Mathematics at the University of South Carolina. Starting in 2015, he was an Adjunct Assistant Professor and Coleman Postdoctoral Fellow at Queen’s University, then a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Delaware in 2018. Danny’s mathematical interests are in graph theory, discrete math, and combinatorics on words. His current research directions in computer science involve applying machine learning to environmental data and studying nondeterminism in distributed HPC applications. He has published 5 papers and submitted 6 more, given over 25 talks, and taught 9 distinct university courses. He is an Editor-in-Chief of the On-Line Encyclopedia of Integer Sequences.
