Biography
Tong Geng is a second-year PhD of ECE department in Boston University. His research interests are computer architecture, FPGA, Machine learning, Parallel Computing. He is currently working on FPGA-cluster-based application acceleration, especially the acceleration of learning of Convolution Neural Network and Molecular Dynamics. He came from Beijing, China and received his Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering from Zhejiang University, China in 2013 and Master Degree in Technology University of Eindhoven, the Netherlands in 2015. Afterward, he works as a PhD researcher in Eindhoven University of Technology for 2 years, working on Machine learning and Fault-tolerant computer architecture. Then, he moved to Boston pursuing his PhD degree.
