Biography
Matt Belhorn is a support specialist and programmer at the Oak Ridge Leadership Computing Facility at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. He focuses on improving the user experience and functionality of OLCF resources for scientific researchers, stemming from his work in computational physics research since 2005. Matt has a major role in provisioning the scientific software environment on OLCF resources. He was an early adopter and later contributor to Spack, which forms the core of the OLCF's software management framework that he co-developed. He is a technical advisor to the ECP-CI project to enhance GitLab CI functionality on HPC resources. Matt received his B.S. and M.S. in Physics from the University of Cincinnati, with a focus on HEP experiments.
