Biography
Tony Pan is a senior research scientist in the Interdisciplinary Research Institute for Data Engineering and Science (IDEaS) at Georgia Institute of Technology. He received the Sc.B. degree in Biophysics from Brown University, the M.S. degree in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and the Ph.D. degree in Computational Science and Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. Previously, he held research positions at General Electric, The Ohio State University, and Emory University. His research interests include high performance computing, distributed information systems, bioinformatics, and biomedical and imaging informatics.
