Matthias Blumrich is a Senior Research Scientist at NVIDIA, working in the Network Research Group. He is primarily interested in all aspects of large-scale, high-performance network architecture and design, ranging from components to entire systems. Prior to joining NVIDIA, he was a member of the core architecture and design team for the three generations of Blue Gene supercomputers at IBM Research. Dr. Blumrich holds a B.E.E. degree from Stony Brook University, and M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from Princeton University.
