Dr. Debzani Deb is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at the Winston-Salem State University, a state university under the University of North Carolina (UNC) system. Previously she also worked as an assistant professor at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, PA and as a lecturer at University of North Carolina at Greensboro, NC. She received her doctoral degree in Computer Science from Montana State University, Bozeman, MT. Her research interests include big data systems, distributed and high performance computing, cloud computing, and computer science education. Her research activities resulted funding support from NSF and other sources and generated numerous journals and proceedings publications. Dr. Deb has over 15 years of experience in Higher Education as faculty member in three different countries such as USA, Australia and Bangladesh.
