Biography
Walid Keyrouz is a Computer Scientist in the Software and Systems Group of the Information Technology Laboratory at the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Dr. Keyrouz received his MS & PhD from Carnegie Mellon University. His first involvement with HPC was in his masters thesis which analyzed the use of array processors and MIMD machines for parallel implementation s of finite element analysis systems. Before joining NIST, he was a research scientist at Schlumberger and a professor of Computer Science at the American University in Beirut, Lebanon.
