Mohammad Zia is a Scientific Programmer for the Center for Computational Research at the University at Buffalo. He is the lead developer on the GenESysV, a fast and scalable variant exploration tool. He is also a lead developer on ColdFront, a resource allocation system. He has expertise in Python programming and Elasticsearch datawharehousing and creating bioinformatics tools that help process large amounts of data. He also provides software development and data analysis support for multiple industrial partners of University at Buffalo.
