John Eblen is a postdoctoral researcher specializing in HPC software development. His primary focus is advancing the computing tools, especially those for HPC, that scientists rely on for modern-day research. This includes improving performance and portability as well as making software easier to develop and easier to use, so that scientists can focus on scientific discovery. He currently is developing the STS (Static Thread Scheduler) threading library and integrating it into GROMACS. Previously, he was the primary developer of Eclipse PTP Synchronized Projects, a tool that enables developers to work on HPC and other remote applications through the Eclipse IDE.
