I completed my Doctoral Dissertation in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). My thesis focused on the design, implementation and analysis of randomized algorithms for scalable mining of terabyte sized matrices on distributed-memory platforms. My research interests span three fundamental problems pervasive throughout large-scale data analytics where randomized algorithms have demonstrated significant impact over the state-of-the-art: least squares regression, low rank approximation and large scale kernel approximation. I have recently joined Yahoo! Research (now Oath) as a Research Engineer in the Ads Sciences group.
