Dr. Bisek (Ph.D. '10 - University of Michigan) is a research aerospace engineer in the Computational Science Center of the Aerospace Systems directorate of the Air Force Research Laboratory. His research interests include computational fluid dynamics of thermo-chemical nonequilibrium supersonic/hypersonic flows, magnetohydrodynamics, and large-eddy / direct numerical simulations of high-speed turbulent systems. For the past 5 years he's been the co-PI on the DoD HPCMP AFRL Frontier project, which has been successful in simulating the hypersonic HIFiRE-6 flight vehicle at full-scale vehicle and at flight conditions.
