Biography
Dr. Chunhua (Leo) Liao is a computer scientist in the Center for Applied Scientific Computing (CASC) at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. His research focus has been on program analyses and transformation techniques to improve the performance, correctness and efficiency of parallel programs. His research and development results have contributed to the OpenMP parallel programming model, the ROSE source-to-source compiler framework, and various program optimization tools. Dr. Liao received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from University of Houston in Aug. 2007. He also holds M.E. and B.E. degrees in Computer Science from Sichuan University in China.
