Biography
Dr. Lei Huang joined TACC in 2014 as a research associate in TACC's High-Performance Computing (HPC) group. Lei earned his PhD in computational chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin, then worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard University and a research assistant professor at the University of Chicago. He has worked on diverse projects spanning from material science to biophysics. His work at TACC is focused on performance evaluation, code optimization on modern HPC architectures and developing cutting-edge HPC tools for debugging and profiling.
