SUMMARY:OpenHPC Community BoF
DESCRIPTION:Birds of a Feather\nSystem Software, Tech Program Reg Pass, Ex
hibits Reg Pass, Exhibits - Exhibit Hall Only Reg Pass\n\nOpenHPC Communit
y BoF\n\nSchulz, Simmons, Brayford, Proctor, Peltz...\n\nOver the last sev
eral years, OpenHPC has emerged as a community-driven stack providing a va
riety of common, pre-built ingredients to deploy and manage an HPC Linux c
luster. Formed initially in November 2015 and formalized as a Linux Found
ation project in June 2016, OpenHPC has been adding new software component
s and now supports multiple OSes/architectures. At this BoF, speakers from
the OpenHPC Technical Steering Committee will provide technical updates f
rom the project and near-term roadmaps. We then invite open discussion giv
ing attendees an opportunity to provide feedback on current conventions, p
ackaging, request additional components and configurations, and discuss ge
 neral future trends.
